Healthy and Delicious Mango Lassi

Mango Lassi

This is one of the Indian secret weapons. . . .yogurt at every meal to help with digestion.  There is mango lassi which blends two of the mainstays of Indian cuisine.  Yogurt helps with the digestion of the spicy curries for which   India is famous.  And it is wonderfully sweet and refreshing.  Gujurat where we were headquartered is known for their sweet teeth  and you might remember when eating the traditional Gujurati thali , the sweets are eaten all through the mean with the more traditional savory dishes.  Enjoy this healthy drink!

Here is a recipe remembering that mango season in India is in the spring, April and May. There is mango juice available for substitution  of the fruit.
