The opening scenes in season 4 of Homeland, the exciting and very popular Showtime production, are finally here. We saw the two opening episodes on Sunday night, but they will also be On Demand. Season 4 is definitely different. The central complicated love story is over and also the strong central premise of the repercussions of war, the affect it has on our military and their families, the affect on civilian life and the life of the enemy. This season there will be a focus on the internal workings of the CIA, Carrie’s unnamed mental illness but still the consequences of war for the enemies on both sides.
There is an enchanting new character named Aayan Ibrahim who is played by Suray Sharma from “The Life of Pi”. Will he become a double agent as Carrie hopes in spite of his hatred for the Americans after the drone attack on his family or will he become a terrorist out for revenge? Stay tuned. . . . .
Anyone out there a “Homeland” follower?
