Happiness is often a choice we make as adults, as so many days, hours and minutes of  life do not seem happy.

This is Pharrell Williams an American singer, writer and rapper.  The song may sound familiar as it is very popular on the radio.  Pharrell wrote, produced and performed “Happy” for the popular children’s film, “Despicable  Me 2”.  His music is categorized as neo-soul/funk and his characteristic falsetto voice is very recognizable.  At the moment, he is one of the judges on “The Voice.”

“Happy” has the distinction of being #1 song  on 3 different occasions.  It has sold 10 million copies world wide. It did lose out to  “Let It Be ” from Frozen in the Academy awards.
