Yesterday, Grace, Henry, Alice and I had lunch together. It was not an ordinary burger or pizza lunch. We had make your own yogurt sundaes and that was all! I always think that you should eat dessert when you are really hungry and can enjoy every bite. When my children were little, the last lunch before school began in the fall was a ice cream one…banana split, or sundae whatever they wanted as a last celebration. I thought it time to pass this along to a new generation. . . with some changes obviously !
We went to 16 Handles and here are some pictures of this franchise yogurt shop.
There are many delicious flavors including sorbet for lactose intolerant people. There was a pomegranate/raspberry that was delicious. There are tastes of whatever flavor you wish. I chose peanut butter. I can eat peanut better with a spoon out of a jar! After the cup is full of yogurt , you go to the serve yourself toppings!
So tempting and so clever because the customer adds them herself and you pay by weight. . . .great marketing. . . .
All agreed that dessert first was a great new idea!
Do you have family traditions? What are they? What is your favorite yogurt or ice cream? Create some memories. . . . Tell me a memory you have from your childhood.
What fun! Lovely photos 🙂

Oh sorry. I think there are some yogurts that are sugar free. But no candy toppings, though. Can you have nuts?
