John Oliver, HBO Comedian, on the Indian Elections ( Trust me, this is very funny!)

Now I am sure many of you are tired of my obsession with the Indian elections and wish I would get out of the weeds. . . . . . .Just a few more weeks as the final count is May 16. This video is very funny for Americans, Indian people, and I think people all over the world if you know at least a bit about this momentous election . And you do if you follow my blog. . I am waiting with baited breath for some belly laughs or even just some chuckles resounding over the blog-e-sphere this morning !

  Well I am an American with no Vote in Indian election . We were in Ahmedabad and saw how much better the roads, electricity , police, traffic lights under mr Modi, He came from a poor family and sold tea in a train station as a boy. Being from that situation he wi have sympathy for the poor.
  
  The riots. . . I think he was a new Chief minister and froze . Only God knows for sure but there have not been repeats . He will know the world is watching and he wants to be a world leader. I feel Mr Modi is a visionary who will give all Indians Hope as he leads India to their place in the world . My husband calls me Modi’s American campaign manager!!

Ha, truly brilliant…absolutely hilarious John Oliver (he is so good, better than Stewart these days…which is saying something because Stewart is still wonderful). Just hard to believe the largest democracy in the world is ignored in the USA 🙂
