President Obama Announces My Brother’s Keeper Initiative

Mentoring, encouragement and guidance are integral to our success. You can’t go to the store and buy them, someone has to give these gifts and care enough to do so. Mr. Obama personally knows the importance of a father figure in children’s lives and the consequences of a lack there of. It is obvious this was a deeply personal moment in his presidency. Though, this the 5th year of his term , and the need is eminence, better late than never, Mr. President.  One point he made was that the young men of color would be held accountable to do their part in making good choices. All Americans can agree and wish these and all  young men, a productive and successful life!

That question remains to be answered, I think. Have you a story about Obama Care?

None that could be said in polite company. It does involve my recent surgery though, and the treatment, or lack thereof, I received, plus a certain doctor telling me bluntly that I couldn’t afford his services even if there was anything he could or would do for me.

I respect President Obama, although he has had a rocky way to go while President. Whenever my friends are disparaging, I remind them of our Bush jokes. They instantly say, Obama is much more human and intelligent… Just my point of view! I love this positive post about him! Smiles, Robin

Well, I too, try to have positive posts. There are lots of things that Mr. Obama has done that I don’t agree with but not this. That is why I posted it as a virtual “good job” to our president!
