Thank you for sharing this hero’s welcome home. Things like this makes you proud to be an American.

Amen, my friend. The only thing I wish was different was the Budweiser logo, I think the wagon and beautiful Clydesdales would have been enough. Well, anyway they paid for it and it is still heartfelt. I understand that Budweiser does lots of good for the returning vets.

I agree with you about the Budweiser. We are always hearing about alcohol related shootings, car wrecks, etc, yet every where you look it is being shoved at us with advertisement about how good it is. Have a blessed day. Jim

Yes, I didn’t think of that , just that the beautiful story video was somehow cheapened by the advertisement. Well said, my friend!

I understand that as a company, all the time, they are very supportive of the vets. Good on them!

it is very different from the custom in our country where the arrival of a hero is formally celebrated among military only, not include the procession in public.

Well, you can tell that it didn’t happen for the Viet Nam Vets because people were very angry about that war in the 1960’s. So those older vets were appreciating the parade for the one they didn’t get!
I have another friend in Indonesia. Have you seen him?

I saw a shortened version of the advertisement on the Superbowl. And then on another show, they showed the whole taping. I went to YouTube, com and typed in something like 5 minute version of military homecoming Budweiser, Superbowl and found it. There are so many good videos. i have one from Republic Day in India that I am posting tomorrow. Check it out. You can spend hours on YouTube!
