Nine Corner Lake

We discovered this gentle slope hike of one mile and one mile down. There is an amazing surprise at the top, a lake with a rope to   jump far out from the rocks into a deep, refreshing pool.   We  enjoyed it so much , we hiked a second time to the rope!

And here is the perfect Miss Anne Christmas card ! Chris snapped this on our hike down. Look at those smiles and the setting so perfect right at the division of a waterfall.  A place just perfect for those perfect children !

Here we are back on the dock.  The kids are dancing to my favorite song. .  . “Sweet Home Alabama!”   I am forever cold as I sit with my Indian shawl !

Each day we were thrilled with a colorful setting sun over Canada Lake !  Some days the sky was pink or sky blue pink as David calls it.  This day it was sky blue orange!
