The weekend has flown by. I left on Monday after putting them on the school bus. Saturday in the afternoon we headed to the Skaneatles YMCA for Parker to ice skate and then 2 hours of swimming for them both. I was pretty tired standing there as close as possible to the swimmers as the parents and guardians are to do in case of a water emergency.
Here are two of Parker’s tracings. . . . recognize Darth Vader and Hans Solo?
Sunday afternoon, it was off to the very popular Syracuse Zoo! The kids were great as I was a tad nervous with such a large crowd enjoying the exquisite spring weather that we might get separated. They were understanding at my concern and listened and stayed together.
A selfie at the entrance. . . . . .
Parker liked this big bear. . . . .on the other side of the thick glass!
Oh you guys would love Incredible India!
I am home now, but yesterday morning Violet came downstairs looking sad. She said, “Miss Anne, I am sad because you are leaving today!’ Oh that touched my heart! I was sad,too ! We made some lovely memories together !
You had a great visit from the looks of it. Wonderful photos Anne. A beautiful place too. And such sweet kids. Nice.

It was fun. I hope to go back early in May for Concert. Parker is first chair violin for his grade. Very talented little guy!

I’m impressed. I tried violin and it is extremely difficult to play. I’ve always said I wanted to play it in the worst way and was an overachiever. Believe me, it was definitely the worst way possible, making the cow go dry after I was banned to the barn to practice.
I did much better when I went with the guitar, playing that for about 30 years and letting it go only after destroying both shoulders. If you can videotape the concert, it would make a nice addition to your blog — hint, hint, hint.

He went to a private Christian School in AZ where they learned the Sasooki method in Kindergarten and first grade. He is in fourth grade now. I will see what can happen about recording the concert. Great idea!
