A Walk Around the Park

unnamed (70)Yesterday was an unexpected gift.  The temperature was around 70 degrees and it is almost Halloween in Upstate New York. The sky was blue and the the sun was streaming through the still colorful trees.  The most of the red and the orange leaves are now  a path of colorful carpet.  I just couldn’t resist at taking some pictures and sharing them.  Sunny days are few and far between now as we approach the “Gray Days of November!”

The golden pathway along my path around the park.

One side of the park has cobble stone that the residents paid for.  Troy also doesn’t remove the snow on this “private” block!   Great to look at but I am glad not to live on this side.

There is a faded summer flowerbed at the corner.

I love the black iron Victorian fence.

Back home at St. Mary’s School  and this lovely Red Maple!

With much love to you all! Enjoy the leaves and neither you nor I have to rake, or at  least not these leaves!

We were at Va Tech this past weekend for Jerry’s 50th reunion. The Blue Ridge Mts were a beautiful sight.
