Jennifer, Mr. Rocket, our camel, and I were just bumping through the desert. . Jen was riding behind me and got this silly picture. . . what a fun ride it was . . PEACE !
This Is Incredible India!
Have you ridden a camel? We did in Egypt years ago and thought we wouldn’t do it again. . . . but we did. . . .safely and it was fun. Getting on the camel as it lies in the sand, and leaning backwards or forwards to help the camel as it rises or lies down is a tad scary. . . but just bouncing along as it lumbers through the sand is quite a ride!
Yes, I’ve ridden a camel. With my granddaughter at the local zoo!!!! LOL! We went all of one circle around a dirty pen, and then I almost couldn’t get off. My legs were paralyzed from holding them up and out!!! I need to go to India and really ride, right?

This was pretty amazing. We rode out to the dunes through the scruffy desert. We dismounted and waited for the sunset. Then we mounted and rode back. It was a total of two hours, and I think we were riding for about an hour of the time. Gosh, when I live in the greater Phoenix area, there were camel rides at the local zoo. Do you leave in Arizona? . . . . love, love, love AZ! Smiles. . . . .

That’s done it for me! I now want my own personal camel! A little out of place in the suburban landscape perhaps, but who cares – and NO ROAD TAX!
