Pacabell’s Cannon in D composed by the German Baroque composer is one of the most famous pieces of classical music. It was first performed at the wedding of Bach’s brother in and about 1680 , and is very popular wedding processional today.
The music is simple, elgant and haunting. You will remember the simple melody all day. Traditionally it is performed by a string quartet playing 8 bars of music, 28 times! A few years ago, for the Christmas season, a choir was added. Enjoy !
