This will make you smile on this Sunday morning. See what happens in Canada at the beginning of a hockey match when the microphone went out. Keep it mind, the crowd is in Toronto!
Now, the question is would have happened if the countries were reversed? I don’t think so. I personally know only the first two words . . . . “Oh Canada. . . .” Sadly, I think there are many Americans who don’t know all the words to OUR National Anthem, let alone Canada’s!

This is so great, brought chills to me.
Yesterday, there was an International food fair at my nieces school in HK, and at the Canadian booth they served a drink with a small Canadian flag ~ and being fun, I asked if the lady if had an American flag and which she laughed and said “No, but I can sing your national anthem if you wish :-)”
Have to love the Canadians!

I had heard about this but hadn’t seen it yet. Yeah we Canadians are a nice bunch – except for our politicians – but that’s kinda universal isn’t it? 😀

LOL. . . . .We can all agree on the rascals in office, for sure. Husband taught at semester at the architecture school in Ottawa in spite of it being the coldest place on earth! I was terrified that he would accept a job there. He found Canadians delightful. I hate cold weather. Well that didn’t happen because of
your great policy of hiring only Canadians except after a futile exhaustive search ! We do love our northern neighbors! Ciao !

Wasn’t this amazing! It really made me feel good after so many countries hate our guts [love our money tho!].
I was thinking the same thing – could we sing ‘O Canada’?
