Veranasi, City of gods

Here is my favorite place in all of India. The post is intense, and long but after all it is one of the top 10 oldest cities on earth according to archaeologists and the oldest city in the world from Hindu mythology.

A Pilgrimage City…Varanasi

We were in a boat at 5AM floating towards the rising sun. We were at the service at the end of the day. We were at the ghats during the day as cattle walked with us and devotees washed and drank the water from the Ganga.  We also saw the smoke from continuous cremations. The videos make this post long, but it is for those of you who choose to take the time and experience this other worldly city.
