Music Monday Steve Miller Band ‘ Fly Like An Eagle’

Continuing the theme started last Monday of The Eagles, here is a classic song  about an eagle flying.  And the  video is very cool, even if you are dead cold sober!

Steve Miller Band was formed in 1967 in the heart of the 60’s capital , San Francisco.  They are still on the scene today, but the height of their popularity was the ’70s.  They have  had many titles describing their music: classic rock, early acid rock, heartland rock, blues rock, progressive rock, and even folk rock during the 60’s transition.

But as for me….they are just a darn good rock band!  Do you agree?

The Steve Miller Band enhanced my college years, way back when. He taught me that pompitus is a word, too.
