Another weird animal posting today which appears to be right out of Alfred Hitchcock’s movie, “The Birds.” It is a classic film from 1963, but one of those films , if you see it , you will always remember especially when you see birds perching on wires or trees in large flocks. My son works in Auburn and has seen the birds flying into town at twilight as he is driving home to Skaneateles.
Auburn has a well known crow problem, Anne. Over the years, there’s been plenty of coverage as politicians and populace discuss what should and could be done about it.

Have you seen “The Birds?”

Oh yes, many times. I love it! A lot of the scenes were shot in Bodega Bay which is north of San Francisco.

In Brooklyn NY a truck carrying tropical birds crashed or something and the birds escaped. Now years later there are flocks of parrots in nests by Brooklyn College. I think they stay warm near the heating systems of the school.

I checked with another blogger who said that it has been gong on for ages , and no one can get them to leave or knows what they are attracted to! Glad it isn’t here. Did you notice the dirty sidewalk?
